First blog for December 08

Posted on 4th December, 2008

I must apologise to those of you that went to this page yesterday expecting to see a new blog. I did write one but unfortunatly I did not save it correctly so there was no blog on the page.

Two new names for the contact page, Clive Lee and Johnny Peck. I sent an email off to Clive and got a reply but I was only able to leave a message on Service Palls site for John Peck and as of yet there is no reply. I suppose I will have to wait until the next time he logs on for him to see the message. Taff Fisher was the one that found John so its nice to see that every one is looking to enlarge our contacts.

The winter seems to be setting in with a vengeance with snow in the north of England and lots of rain and grey skies down this end.Who knows we may even get a white Christmas.

The thing about winter is that it makes you appreciate the Spring and Summer months more. I do some times feel envious of the ones that have emigrated to warmer climates but there is some thing magical about the changing seasons that you only get in Britain.

I am writing this blog with my 18 month old Grand Daughter sat on my lap. She is a bit of a fidgit and loves messing with the keyboard so I find myself having to go back over the words. She is little treasure but she can be hard work at times.

The numbers who say they will be attending the reunion stand at 36 at the moment and the total seems to go up each month. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up on what every one has been doing over the last 40 years.

That's all my ramblings for no folks,

Beef
